The Bergström family commissioned the renowned architect Gert Wingårdh to design a house in the west coast city of Gothenburg, Sweden. The U-shape of the house created a unique kitchen space where the family wanted a very long table.
Staffan Holm studio was commissioned to design a 7meters! long table for the Bergström family. The table needed to be built inside the house and the inspiration for the table came from simple architectural models. The material is Oregon pine from the danish flooring company Dinesen who can deliver very long and beautiful planks.
